Each year, departments in PTFI asked to place new graduates from different fields of study. These requests are collected by the Department of Quality Management Services PTFI. Graduate Development Program (GDP-PT-FI) S1-S2 are welcome to apply
- Actively recruit more graduates every year in a number of different fields of study
- Implementing New Graduates Development Programme (GDP) which is designed to acquire, develop and retain young professionals.
- Provide opportunities to develop competency-based national graduates who elected.
- Educate and develop a group of young professionals
- Giving priority to young professionals in Papua, particularly the local Papuans from "Seven Tribe."
QMS works with accredited universities in Indonesia for the process of selecting candidates. The universities are: Institut Teknologi Bandung (Bandung), University of Gajah Mada University (Yogyakarta), Universitas Padjadjaran (Bandung), University of Indonesia (Jakarta) Ten November Institute of Technology (Surabaya) Trisakti University (Jakarta), the National Development University (Yogyakarta), Universitas Sriwijaya (Palembang ) university (Jayapura), University of Science & Technology Jayapura (Jayapura).
Selection Criteria
- Academic Requirements: Candidates enrolled in university degree program or have successfully completed a program, the chosen field of study, at a university in Indonesia or abroad (GPA 2.8)
- Preliminary Selection Test: Candidates are required to meet corporate standards
- Preliminary Selection Interviews indicate that the candidate: Has Fast determination and tenacity to learn and responsive to feedback
- Indicates a high level of integrity Core Competence Standards In accordance with PT Freeport Indonesia, in accordance with the values and culture of PT Freeport Indonesia, showed a willingness to achieve results, like the idea of living in remote areas
- Indicates a good English skills
- No more than 2 years after graduation.
- The main fields of study applicable to PT Freeport Indonesia: Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Information Technology / Computer Science, Chemistry, Accounting, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Industrial Engineering and Business Administration Management.
