PT Kaltim Nitrate Indonesia (KNI), a joint venture company between Armindo Group and Orica Group, is constructing a large scale continuous chemical manufacturing facility located in Bontang, East Kalimantan. The facility is world scale utilizing the best available most advanced technology of its type globally. KNI is determined to deliver the best performing ammonium nitrate manufacturing complex in the world and is seeking skilled, experienced and committed applicants to form members of a successful site team. Extensive training including training in international locations will be provided for successful applicants in order to position them and the facility for success from day one.

Senior Electrical Engineer
The role of senior electrical engineer at KNI is to provide leadership for the site in electrical safety and equipment reliability
Accountabilities will also include:
  • Supporting the site objectives of safety, quality, reliability and people development
  • Appointment as the responsible electrical engineer for the Bontang site
  • Ensuring site Compliance to the relevant company policies and statutory standards for High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) equipment and distribution systems
  • Direct responsibility for safe and reliable operation of HV distribution equipment
  • Ensuring personnel are suitably trained and authorized to safely carry out work on and around electrical equipment
  • To assist in the Development & Implementation of the KNI Reliability Roadmap
  • To assist in the Development & Support of the Electrical SH&E Procedures, Systems and Risk Assessment Processes
  • To Develop, Implement and Maintain the Electrical Plans for the site HV/LV and Distribution Equipment through the use of SAP PM
Prerequisites
  • Electrical Engineering Degree - Minimum 10 years experience in Maintenance / Reliability roles within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or similar industry
  • Leadership Position within a Reliability or Maintenance team
  • Substantial experience with HV/LV and Distribution Equipment
  • Substantial experience with HV/LV and Distribution Equipment Safety Systems and Procedures
  • Proven Safety knowledge & experience
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
  • HAZOP experience
  • Proven experience with Electrical Standards
Senior Mechanical Engineer
The role of Senior Mechanical Engineer at KNI is to provide leadership for the Mechanical Engineering disciplines including the Mechanical Reliability team
Accountabilities will also include
  • To support the site objectives of Safety, Quality, Reliability and People Development Compliance with Company & Statutory Engineering Standards by appointment as the responsible Mechanical Engineer for the Bontang site
  • Compliance with the relevant Company & Statutory Standards for Static & Rotating equipment
  • To assist in the Development & Implementation of the KNI Reliability Roadmap
  • To assist in the Development & Support of the Mechanical SH&E Procedures, Systems and Risk Assessment Processes
  • To develop, implement and maintain the mechanical plans for the site Static & Rotating Equipment through the use of SAP PM
Prerequisites:
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree - Minimum 10 years experience in Maintenance/Reliability within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or similar industry
  • Leadership Position within a Reliability or Maintenance Team
  • Substantial experience with Rotating Equipment - including compressors, turbines, pumps
  • Substantial experience with Static Equipment - Pressure Vessels, Columns, Exchangers, Boilers, Steam Drums
  • Proven Safety knowledge & experience
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
  • HAZOP experience
  • Proven experience with Engineering Standards
  • Integrity Inspection experience preferred
Stores Superintendent
The role of Store Superintendent at KNI is to provide Leadership and System Development for the Engineering & Chemical stores on site
Accountabilities will also include
  • To support the site objectives of Safety, Quality, Reliability and People Development
  • To develop Systems and Procedures that support the KNI Stores
  • To assist in the setup of SAP MM - Materials Management
  • To set-up the stores area on site - create a stores area from the beginning
  • To assist in the Development & Implementation of the KNI Reliability Roadmap with a focus on Stores Excellence
Prerequisites
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Economics
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a Stores position within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or similar industry
  • Experience in a Stores environment that supports a 24 hour/365 days per year Process plant
  • Leadership position within a Stores environment
  • Experience setup up a new Stores
  • Clear understanding of stores systems & procedures
  • Proven safety knowledge & experience
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems SAP preferred
  • Ability to work in a hands role as the Stores Superintendent
  • Ability to be flexible - expectation is this role will be hands on
Site Accountant
The role of Site Accountant at KNI is to provide assistance and leadership of the accounting function for the Bontang Manufacturing and operations site. To improve business performance that results improved shareholder value though provision of quality management accounting and financial analysis
Accountabilities will also include
  • Maintain a safe working environment and provide personal leadership on safety, health and environment issues
  • Contribute to the Mining Services business profitability by proactively identifying and implementing improvements, management of the budget process for volumes, fixed and variable costs, and capital
  • Develop customer relationships that ensure confidence in business and project outcomes. Education of the site employees in financial management concepts, which they can apply on a day-to-day basis
  • Active participation in the site management team and provision of leadership on financial matters for the site employees. Work closely with the site and finance team in order achieve superior results
Prerequisites:
  • Financial modeling and evaluation skills: strategic key system knowledge (i.e SAP), string technical accounting skills, cost accounting and strong analytical skills
  • Degree in Accounting or related discipline
  • Professional qualification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years Accounting and Financial Management experience working in a cross cultural business environment in Indonesia
  • High behavioral competency in: result orientation, holding people accountable, conceptual thinking, customer service, self development and initiative
Human Resources Officer
The role of Human Resources Officer at KNI is to provide advice and support on key activities (employee lifecycle, policies and procedures, HR Systems) to KNI Management, HR Manager and Line Managers of KNI Bontang which enables key customers to enhance workplace relations and productivity in line with HR strategy
Accountabilities will also include:
  • Manage employee lifecycle process, maintain employee records and report to reflect lifecycle changes, review employee files to assist KNI Management with queries/investigations on local and international employees, coordinate/support domestic and international assignee movements with assigned consultants and line managers, manage family leave and to end process (communication and reporting), manage HR Dashboard data and report for KNI Bontang
  • Participate in projects which provide continuous improvement to the business, participate in the improvement and streamlining of HR Processes and reporting
  • Maintain KNI organizational structure, facilitate sharing of experience and best practice, advise and influence KNI line Managers and employees daily on matters around employee lifecycle, policies and procedures and HR systems
  • Manage and have a solid understanding of legislation and relevant employee payroll information to provide payroll, assist the negotiation & implementation of agreements, and sounds knowledge of all agreements
  • Provide advice and assistance to line management in recruitment best proactive, manage CV, PD and warning letter database, the development of internal advertisements via Orica Vacancies Database and Recruitment Database
  • Maintain HR Connect - coach/advise HR Manager, Line Managers, and employees to understand the system and its capabilities, issue and/or problems, and on how to run reports
  • Maintain performance management system and report, and initiate improvement to capacity and effectiveness of HR Connect/SAP Payroll
  • Provide Assistance to HR Manager with remuneration and benefit data
  • Ensure templates are updated to reflect legislation/award changes and as central management of award/agreement documentation
  • Participate in Hay Panel regularly - Ensure data is recorded on master spreadsheet and saved on PD Database
  • Provide information and advice on Orica’s compulsory, core and leadership training programs, involvement in facilitating workshops, and the induction process for all new employees
  • Assist in providing advice to HR Manager and Line Managers on OD and ER processes
Prerequisites:
  • Strong administration skills, advanced excel skills, ability to work with electronic processes and systems
  • Understanding HR Policies and procedures, the diversity of people and culture, HR, payroll, and superannuation related legislation and statutory requirements
  • 5 years experience in HR service or Admin role, strong in HR system and procedure
  • Graduate qualifications in HR management or Psychology is an advantage, but not essential
  • High behavioral competency in : results orientation, decision making, collaborating and influencing, developing self and others, customer relationship
