Partnership Specialist - Jakarta
The Position
  • XL is building a specialist team to support and facilitate developing new products activities, the Innovation Lab. The Lab is now recruiting for high caliber professional that can help XL to be more agile, alert and effective.
Responsibilities
  • The XL Innovation Lab is looking for a commercially-savvy Local/ Global Partnership Specialist to build and strengthen our relationships with Indonesian Internet content and communication players, including Internet sites, application developers, major retailers, utilities and entrepreneurs and also with the world’s major communication and content players, including the likes of Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Facebook and Skype.
  • Through industry scouting and partner interaction the partnership specialist will shape the roadmap of XL Innovation. This role will manage all commercial activities between XL Axiata and a range of Indonesian players. Essential to the role will be the ability to run a program to support and develop and select players to partner with XL for launching ideas and services to the Indonesian market.
  • The partnership specialist will also help define new product opportunities, shaping and channeling initial concepts through to product and planning teams and managing the commercial negotiations and terms for joint products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, supported by strong business development experience in a relevant sector – telecoms, IT, management consulting.
  • A proven track record of managing strategic relationship and delivering high profile agreements between telecom and Internet players.
  • A strong network of partners across the Indonesia Mobile and Internet market.
  • A thorough understanding of the telecoms and internet industries, including good knowledge of mobile products.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Solid interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office package (Word, PowerPoint Access).
  • Fluent in English.

Project Specialist - Jakarta

The Position
  • XL is building a specialist team to support and facilitate developing new products activities, the Innovation Lab. The Lab is now recruiting for high caliber professional that can help XL to be more agile, alert and effective.
Responsibilities
  • This position will manage and/or support the launch of our new initiatives for the Innovation Lab. The nature of the projects will be diverse from product roll out to market research execution, and pilot testing. The innovation project specialist will ultimately be responsible for the successful deployment of the project and the reporting of its key metrics, and its final evaluation.
  • Specific responsibilities include identification of project stakeholder, communication management; project reporting, conflict and escalation management, KPI’s development and tracking.
  • This role will be leading the company in new areas, as such it will flexible welcoming change. Looking for solution in and driving implementation via ad hoc task forces. Finally the project specialist will also be responsible of the overall assessment and learning from of projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Psychology. MBA preferred.
  • Excellent project management experience demonstrated through working experience.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effectively conveys messages in both written and verbal business development discussions
  • Understands technology (Internet, telecommunications, and client/server architectures).
  • Solid interpersonal and communications skills.

Research Analyst - Jakarta

The Position
  • XL is building a specialist team to support and facilitate developing new products activities, the Innovation Lab. The Lab is now recruiting for high caliber professional that can help XL to be more agile, alert and effective.
Responsibilities
  • This position will support the Innovation Lab in collecting selecting and analyzing data, trends and information from the media, technology and communication markets to provide business perspective and consumer insight.
  • Specific responsibilities include managing information providers, developing appropriate research designs, planning and executing market research projects (primary and secondary research), presentation of findings transforming market research data into clear marketing recommendations.
  • The research analyst will be driving the consumer and business perspective into all aspects of the decision making process for the Lab, including the assessment and prioritization of ideas via business and consumer impact analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or Statistics. MBA preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills demonstrated via working experience. 5 year's marketing/market research experience.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
  • Solid interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office package (Word, PowerPoint Access).
  • Experience with statistical analysis software, e.g. SPSS, appreciate yet no necessary
  • Fluent in English.

Specialist - Regulatory Analysis (RA) - Jakarta

Job Purpose
  • To assist Superior in providing advice to XL Management by reviewing related Infocom Regulations & Policies and its impact to the company business operations & strategy
Main Responsibilities
  • Provide analysis (including relevant regulations research as needed) as a tool to advise XL management of the new and current regulations and policies applied for XL business as well as advocating any necessary changes or requirements
  • Act as resource person in infocom regulations/policies for:
    • Corporate Legal on the current requirements of telecommunication regulations
    • Product/Project Owner during the development of for any new line of business/ new product/new pricing scheme/disclosure in XL Financial reports and other external reports
    • Marketing comm. & Corporate comm. during the development of communications of any new line of business/new product/new pricing scheme
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or other related disciplines
  • 5 years experience in Telecommunication Industry, preferably in Regulatory analysis position
  • Advanced Knowledge of Telecommunication law and regulations
  • Exposure to Indonesian Regulatory Body / Other Government Ministries
  • Basic knowledge of Telecommunication Engineering/Operations would be an advantage
  • Project Management Skill
  • People Skills (Team-Leadership, Interpersonal Communication, Negotiation)
  • Analysis & Report Writing Skill
